Welcome to Ramgarh College
Being a small town of historical importance remained under the dark of backwardness and illiteracy till the beginning of sixth decade of the 20th century. However, many students of the urban and rural area were interested for higher education. Realizing this necessity the noble idea for opening a college in the town came into the mind of a few conscious citizens of the town. Subsequently Ramgarh College, Ramgarh Cantt. Was established in March, 1963. The Bihar State University Service Commission, Patna granted permanent affiliation to the college on 27th April 1968 under Ranchi University, Ranchi.
