Ramgarh College is a co-educational public college located in Ramgarh town of Ramgarh District in Jharkhand. Ramgarh College is one of the premier colleges of Vinoba Bhave University. It was founded by the elite intellectuals and philanthropists of Ramgarh town in the year 1963. It received permanent affiliation on 27th April 1968 under Ranchi University Ranchi. In the month of November 1980 the College was made a constituent unit of Ranchi University. In 17.09.1992 the College came under the auspices of Vinoba Bhave University after the bifurcation of Ranchi University.

Campus :- The College has 14.23 acres campus. It comprises of a Main building Arts Block, Administrative Building, Science Block and Commerce Block.

  Two new buildings that have recently been added. The College has adequate facilities for sports & extracurricular activities. There is a big central Library.

  The College was accredited by NAAC on 13.09.2009 Grade B no. CGPA of 2.02 (first cycle accreditation). It was Re accredited on 15.11.2015 (second cycle). The College is in the process of 3rd cycle NAAC accreditation.
